It was nothing less than a miracle to make your acquaintance on that Friday, June 29th, 2007. Remember the story I told you...

My mother and father, aged 90, had come time to recognize the need to simplify their elegant life and find many of their possessions a new home. Moving from 2 very large homes and storage barns full of items stored to seasonally unveil their memories of their life together was an emotional and exhausting experience for them both........ the task, however, was left to me.

In my mind, an "auction" was something I never considered because it seemed only the "rich and famous" could meet the qualifications and standards of "good stuff." But I was really mistaken. Auctions are only as good as the exemplary auctioneer and follow-up team. Your prompt service helped me "not change my mind" on items to place in the auction. Your empathy was an emotional safety net and helped us let go of family treasures. Your advertising was extremely effective. Your presentation at the auction previewing was energetic and so compelling. As I toured the aisles, I realized that I had never gotten a chance to admire the detail. It was a nice time to reflect on the good times my family experienced in our homes that housed these items, and I was eager to meet some of the people who would be lucky enough to take them home. The care your team took in setting the stage for each vignette in your auction house was as though each treasure called out "take me home with you." My mother and father listened via cell phone at times during the auction bidding and compared it to a "theater performance" - yet another exciting adventure that they will reflect on together. It was a great experience for us all.

The value of your experience made my auction successful. It is all about bringing great ideas and great people together in one amazing place. The atmosphere was filled with ENERGY and FUN.

More importantly, however, I was impressed with you and your Christian family, Joe. You are an astute business person who upholds the highest professional standards. My family and I put our complete trust in you; and I'm so glad that we did. For us, praying to our Lord is the best way to find solutions. When I prayed for an answer on how to best tackle the task at hand, the Lord brought you and your Christian Ridge Crest Family to me. And that, in itself, is as miracle as we will be friends forever.

Oh, and thank you also for making a lot of money for us too.
